In distinctive light blue livery, Coventry based Thomsonfly will base 4 Boeing 737-Series 300 aircraft at Doncaster Sheffield Airport, with the exception of G-CDZN, a Boeing 737-Series 800 hybrid.

The 737-300 flew for the first time in 1984. Over 1000 B737-300 aircraft have been sold and it now forms the backbone of many airlines' shorthaul fleet. Its range with 128 passengers is 2685 miles. The 737-800 is Boeings next generation 737. The stretch version 737 flew for the first time in 1997. With a seating capacity of 189 passengers and a range of 2458 miles.
