Armargi Hiller's site has loads of intresting new articles and 200Mb of data and images about Egypt. These images are very high quality, and this site is probably the largest independent Egypt website. You could be sucked in for many hours!

Alan has mellowed in his views somewhat. The once radical and exciting ideas have been tamed a little because the latest evidence on the plateau has proved some of them them wrong, although happily, he is still far from orthodox. His key books on Ancient Egypt are Pyramid of Secrets and The Midnight Sun. Alan is my favourite author in this field and he gets top spot in my Unorthodox list.
