21st Century Bikes

Back in the early 1990's the front of our house was like the paddock area of Cadwell Park
We knew stacks of people with bikes, and some who had three or more..

HereWe have Dave, Dave And Ash
And GPZ 550, GPZ550, GSX600R GSX250

BMF rally was a highlight to any serious motorcyclist's year. With overnight camping for members, spares, clothing and helmets, bands and thousands of bikes from all over europe.

Loads of custom jobs too.

The Suzuki GSX600 another race replica style bike, this one had a few knicknames, The Teapot, The lozenge was one as it was white and smooth like something you might suck in your mouth. Unfortunately this bike shattered it's fairings when it highsided at a motorway roundabout. And was later stolen.

Here is the Bent and muddy frame

Dave's Kawasaki LTD 450
This was Dave T's first proper bike, he bought it before he passed his test, but it was a strange beast, a thrusting twin, it wouldn't keep up with a 550 at high speed, but would beat it off the mark.
Before I bought a proper bike, Dave used  sometimes to lend it to me, so I could go on a longer run with the rest of the big bikes.
