Well it's finally the new millenneum, and we're all getting a bit middle-aged-life's-crisis-spready. With the consequence of wanting to get back on to two wheels again.

Now as far as I'm concerned a nice dirty 1200cc rat bike that drips oil everywhere and makes a hell of a lot of noise, would be just the ticket, but first I've got to make a space for it in the garden, meanwhile Nick, has just realised that he forgot to take his bike test, and has to take CBT (whatever that is), not only that Mum and Dad chucked his Helmet Away!, probably a good move as it was 2nd hand and shite when he bought it..

So he's just Come back with a nice XL125, and new titfer.

Here It Is, things have come along a bit since my day. This thing has an electric start , mirrors and everything, where's the oily patch on the road???

Hmm.. have those days gone forever . .

Louise has just got one of these 500cc Moped new fangled twist and go bikes. Crikey it'll do 50 mph! I wonder what Chubby Checker thinks about that..

Look at that front swinging arm single sided steering. And electric start too..

The reason I got the ache for a bike again was because Of a week spent in Corfu with Yanina, we were a bit pissed off after failing miserably to get on a public local bus, my greek isn't up to scratch, and despite waiting at the bus stop, the bus came and stopped 50 yards away, and buggered of without us, and we decided to hire a bike the next day, so we could decide to come and go as we pleased, and proceeded to have the best day of the whole holiday.

The greek bloke who ran the bike hire shop was the possessor of a very amusing Aussie accent, and was well satisfied when he saw my full bike licence, and gave us the best bike he had and insurance for 20Euros. That's about £13! . incredible value.
