interesting drink, with dark brown colour and with a hint of a nutty taste. Planning to get some of this into bottles soon, maybe even blend some with one of the other ales.

Who needs food in their fridge anyway??
An Episode In Lagering
Munton's Export Stout
18th November 2000 - 25th November 2000
Barrel approx 13 Pints
25th November 2000
Bottles 3 x 1pt
more like a milk stout, not creamy, and strong barley smell, greatly enjoyed out of a bottle.

The next stout will be a creamier variety, possibly Edme, as this one whilst gratefully tasted, has not hit the spot in some quarters

Mexican Lager
5th November 2000 - 15th November 2000
Bottles
13 x 12oz
1 x 10 oz
This beer is quite clearly intended to be a facsimilie of Sol lager

Dutch Lager
4th December 2000 - 25th December 2000
Bottles
33 x 10 oz
16 x 12 oz
I don't know for sure, but I think that this lager is supposed to be like Grolsch. It has turned out quite fizzy

Part of the Lager Stocks - yesterday
Coopers Australasian Lager
13th January 2001 - 18th March
This brew was conditioned in a cooled barrel
between 26th Jan - 16th March 2001
Bottles
52 x 12 oz
This lager has a similar bite to Stella, but a slightly different
taste, might need keeping for a few months more.

High Jinx from the beer department
of the engine room

The northern England location of the engine room, and the
incredible quality of the mains water supply, coupled with the availability of
a superb cool basement, combine to create the most excuisite beer

and thus to a bizzarre set of cooky webpages

Comments to Brewmonster please, I am also happy to answer questions about brewing
most of which will be made up, and completely useless
