Norton is an historical and area which was formerly a collection of Derbyshire Hamlets and Villages but for the last century has been entirely within the Boundary of Sheffield and the County of Yorkshire.
I am mainly interested in Norton Lees which is a district just up the hill from Woodseats and other noteworthy pubs in the main part of Norton, Bounded by Derbyshire Lane at the west, Meadowhead Roundabout at the South West meanwhile keeping out of the 1960s designed conurbation of Gleadless.
So Basically Norton Lees, Norton, Backmoor and Meadowhead
I am Proud to announce that this section contains the Nailmakers Arms which is by a long way the oldest pub in Sheffield
