What a joy to discover that the sheffield rock scene of the 80's may be gone [STEVE- Nope it's still very much alive and kicking!] but not forgotten! (Apart from the details blotted out by an excess of alcohol, of course). I discovered on page 19 of the rebels pix photos of the some of the guys I used to hang out with but lost touch with once I moved to London in 1990. Keep up the good work!

PS I used to work at the Saddle on West St, next door (ish) to the Limit. Pulp rehearsed behind and Jarvis would often be in for a half of lager. Many a happy night passed in the limit, wading through the piss and beer from the bogs, in desperate pursuit of student totty. Fantastic. And then there was the Roxy on the 1st monday of every month....
