The Classic Rock Bar ( Jolly Buffer venue )

21st Century Lost Rock venue

The classic rock bar is still an ongoing organisation, but they operate from other venues since they lost their premises at the old Jolly Buffer Pub which was located at 114 Ecclesall Road. Sadly this venue was only ever a temporary arrangement because the pub was due to be demolished to build some apartments.

CRB Fliers used to be scattered all over the venue to tell everyone which bands were due to play. Here is the last one before this wonderful venue closed for the last time

Here is another flier. The outstanding thing is that this flier is typical of an average month at the Classic Rock Bar on Ecclesall Road. This amount of bands did play every single month. Several of these bands are no longer together the rest are still going strong.
