What Is Rock Reunited?
The Rock Reunited original concept was to feature old pictures which were taken 10-30 years ago in the rock scene in Sheffield. It was dreamed up by Steve and Roy on the 14th April 2004, when Roy sent some pictures to Steve by email of his friends from around 1980 when he was part of the Rock scene in Sheffield. Many of the pictures show people with lots of long hair and thin youthful figures, which in many cases are now consigned to history. He also actively canvassed some of his friends and got more collections of photos to expand the project substantially.
Steve who had also varied rock pictures to contribute, of his times between 1988 and 1990 when he was big haired and regular on the Sheffield rock scene, added his to the brew and continued to get in touch with his friends to get more pics.
As more people scanned their old photos, the site gained more and more pages, and as a free site, which is just for fun, we invite everyone who is interested to send in their own pics or send a link to us, of any other website with relevence to rock in Sheffield or near Sheffield.

Rock Reunited is organised into two seperate areas. The first area is sections of pages of photos which have vague themes, which could be the contributor or the venue. In some cases the contributor of the photos also has website links or e-mail links

The second area is related rock venues (which have now gone). Both internal and external to this website. Some of these sections are hosted on the authors other webspace, or other contributor's webspace.
