Slug & Fiddle, Ecclesall Road Sheffield

The slug used to be managed by Herbie Armstrong the famous guitarist/singer, he wouldn't let you play unless you were very good, of course Winscale got in, "No Bother", we just played him the Recording of Jesus Toilet Seat, and the money was ours! He was always keen to have us back, and we played several times.

This pub had special Floozy & Firkin beer mats, which stated that the address was in West Yorkshire, when in fact we are in South Yorkshire, and Historically Derbyshire until about 1920
